Accessibility
Built to beused by everyone.
Our commitment
Upsurge is committed to ensuring that this website can be used by everyone, including people with disabilities. We treat digital access as part of how we serve investors, in keeping with the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 and SEBI's accessibility requirements for regulated entities.
Conformance
We aim to meet WCAG 2.2, Level AA.
SEBI asks regulated entities to follow the latest Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), the Guidelines for Indian Government Websites (GIGW 3.0) and IS 17802, under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016. We build this website to WCAG 2.2 at Level AA, which also covers WCAG 2.1.
What we have done
Six measures, built in.
- 01
Structure and landmarks
Pages use proper headings and regions, and a skip link, so assistive technology can move through them in a logical order.
- 02
Keyboard friendly
Every control can be reached and operated without a mouse, with a visible focus indicator.
- 03
Readable contrast
Text meets AA contrast against its background, and pages reflow when you zoom up to 400 per cent.
- 04
Labelled forms
Each field carries a clear label, and validation messages are announced to screen readers as they appear.
- 05
Motion you control
The Pause animation button at the foot of every page stops all movement and is remembered as you browse. We also honour the system setting that asks for less animation.
- 06
Other formats
Ask us for any page or document in another format, such as plain text, large print or an accessible PDF.
